About

Welcome to ESM School of Motoring. Here at ESM, we believe that learning to drive is a skill for life.

We take great pride in working with all learner drivers to ensure they can drive safely and confidently in all situations. ESM School of Motoring is proud to have a very high pass-rate, but don’t just take it from us — check out our Testimonials to see what exactly our previous students have to say about us.

Our prices may vary due to distance, so please get in touch to get a quote on how much a 2 hour lesson will be.

About Eshan Mossun ADI

Eshan Mossun is fluent in British Sign Language and a fully qualified Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency Fleet Driver Trainer. He founded ESM School of Motoring shortly after qualifying as a driving instructor in the late 1980s, and continued his professional development at the Queen Elizabeth Foundation and City College, amongst other courses. Eshan is greatly experienced in teaching new drivers from various walks of life, whether they are relearning due to a medical assessment, disqualification, or require specialist assistance and vehicle adaptations to enable them to drive safely.

Being one of the few BSL trained driving instructors in the UK, Eshan is uniquely positioned to teach deaf and hearing impaired drivers how to pass their practical tests successfully and drive safely for life. Throughout his career, Eshan has chosen to taught individuals with disabilities and older drivers using specialist and high-tech adaptations.

Eshan’s professional successes are unlikely to stop there. In 2010, Eshan was voted among the ADI’s of the Month by the DIA, and in 2017, ESM School of Motoring was proudly featured with student Cannadine in the Off The Fence programme “I’m Different: Let Me Drive”, episode 2 on BBC.
